The Learning Environment

Embedding Accelerated Learning in Your School -

with Penny Clayton

Aimed at senior managers, this compelling workshop focuses on the strategic embedding of an accelerated learning culture within schools.   Against a rich backdrop of good practice in a number of schools, Penny facilitates an exploration of the crucial issues. Important elements of the workshop are the opportunity to consider learning styles within a delegate's own context and the development of learning networks.

Performance Coaching

with Will Thomas

Coaching is a positive, helping relationship between two people: a trained coach and a client.   It differs from other helping relationships such as counselling, mentoring, and guidance in that it does not offer advice nor does the coach suggest that he/she is an expert in a client's field of work.   Coaching seeks to empower a person to find their own solutions to their challenges, focusing on the present and the future and not dwelling on past events.   Coaches are non-judgmental and non-critical, concentrating on strengths and encouraging clients to build on these.
