About the speakers
Alite has brought together a panel
of speakers with unrivalled practical experience of
transforming learning and teaching using Accelerated
Learning in the primary environment.
Alistair
Smith has been described as "the UK's leading
trainer in modern learning methods". An outstanding
presenter and motivational speaker, Alistair travels
throughout the UK and abroad delivering training based
on his best-selling books. He is the founder and
Chair of Alite.
Philip
Davis is the author of Beat It1 and Beat It2, the
music CDs for accelerating learning. He has been a teacher
for 13 years, and now combines his classroom work with
training, composing and writing assignments, collaborating
with Alistair Smith to link his musical ideas to Accelerated
Learning concepts.
Anne
Copley has 26 years’ experience of dealing
with difficult pupils across all age ranges and abilities.
She is Head Teacher of a special school and still finds
time to deliver quality training for Alite under the
title 'How to Reach the Hard to Teach'. Anne provides
a unique offer of Accelerated Learning with emotional
intelligence and inclusivity.
Andy
Hind has considerable experience of working with
Head Teachers, Senior Leaders and teachers to help them
develop and improve their classroom practice. During
his career he has worked as Subject Coordinator/leader,
Deputy Head and Head Teacher. He now supports schools
in the improvement and development of learning for all.
