The Alite School Improvement Programme

For collaborative projects aiming to tranform Teaching and Learning in LEAs, Excellence Clusters, NLCs and other groups of schools.

Through our input we support improvements in the quality of teaching and learning over the life of the project, and facilitate improvements in pupils' motivation and engagement. Training in the techniques of Accelerated Learning also leads to improvements in staff confidence and professional skills.

The client groups for our programmes include pupils, parents, support workers, teachers and local authority support staff.

Our SIP Programme, which is delivered and sustained by highly experienced staff, includes:

A foundation programme involving
a high-profile launch event with Alistair Smith
strategy workshops for Head teachers and senior managers
sustained intensive training for key teachers
action research and dissemination

Additional development programmes involving
motivational workshops for groups of pupils
specialist workshops for learning support staff
training of key people to lead parent/carer groups
training of senior managers on mentoring and coaching
training of middle managers on how to support effective implementation of Accelerated Learning in their faculty or department
the Alps (Accelerated Learning in Primary Schools) course
training for key teachers in Emotional Intelligence
individual or cluster group training for whole school training days
