Composer Philip Davis says of his latest CD:
"You can use the tunes as you see fit. Try different tunes with different moves, ask the children what tunes they like to work with. Do not timetable brain breaks in the day too rigidly, use them when you feel they need to be used. Often a quick 2 minute calm break or 3 minute energiser in the middle of a lesson will make all the difference! Most of all, have fun with the music and the moves, get a small percussion instrument and play along with some of them to get that 'live' feel. The children will soon become expert at the moves and feel the benefits of practising them as part of their learning." |
