Michele Miller
Co-author, Parents as Learners.
Michele is an experienced teacher, trainer and Sport Psychologist to Olympic level.
Michele completed her first degree in Sport Science and Education. She went on to complete a Masters degree in Sport Psychology at Loughborough University.
Michele is a mother of 4 children, and brings experience from the parent perspective as well as an understanding of how today’s children live in our schools.
Clare Foster
Clare Foster works for the SSAT as a Programme Coordinator in the Every Child Achieves network. She is responsible for coordinating programmes which include the Cultural Diversity Quality Standard, the ECA challenge & events, ECA Lead Practitioners, children in care, parental engagement events and behaviour (SEAL: social and emotional aspects of learning).
Clare was Deputy Head at Alder Grange Community & Technology School, Lancashire where she had responsibility for Students’ Well-Being and Personal Development. This included oversight of the ‘Whole Child’ Strategy embodied in Every Child Matters, Parental Partnership and Extended Services.
