We had a wonderful day. Sarah was able to provide relevant information for all participants (the whole range of school staff) and give us lots of areas to focus on for further school improvement.

Sarah Mook
Sarah Mook is a leading consultant with Alite. She is a highly experienced teacher and trainer. Her career has, to date, taken in a wide range of roles and responsibilities and provided her with a diversity of experience.
Sarah was brought up in Wiltshire in the South of England. She completed a degree in Languages and Drama, and undertook drama training. Her teaching career has been based in the east end of London. She taught successfully in a multicultural inner city secondary school where she held a variety of responsibilities, including special educational needs. Since then, she has taught in a range of settings including primary, a special school, and a progressive school where there was considerable emphasis on experiential and creative learning.
Sarah then took her broad experience base into work with an exclusion project. She managed a project for disaffected young people, mostly - but not exclusively - boys, who had been excluded from school. Her work involved motivating these young people, helping them reintegrate into the mainstream system and liaising with their families. Sarah also worked closely with Feltham Young Offender's unit.
Having spent time in education and gained an understanding of motivation and behavioural issues, Sarah then went on to higher study in group dynamics and psychology. This allowed her to become an independent trainer and consultant. In this capacity she worked for organisations as diverse as Lucent Technologies, The Schoolhouse Education Project and The Imperial School of Medicine.
Sarah Mook has spent considerable time in the United Kingdom and in the United States researching models of effective learning and accelerated learning applications in particular. Her training is flamboyant and fun, but is backed by thorough research and years of experience.
