Very stimulating, informative, lively and really practical.   Very good presenter. Cath engages well with teachers even with large groups.  I would thoroughly recommend her.

Cath Daley

Cath is a highly experienced teacher, trainer and performance coach. She began her career more than 25 years ago and has wide experience as a teacher and manager, teaching physics, science and maths to pupils of very differing needs and social circumstances in a number of different establishments on Merseyside, ranging from a prestigious boys’ independent school to inner city comprehensives. She is a former Head of Physics and was the first Advanced Skills Teacher to be appointed in Liverpool. In her role as the Lead Learner she had whole school responsibility for the Development of Teaching for Learning at a Specialist Sports College in Liverpool.

She worked closely with the PE Department to deliver Accelerated Learning in PE and as a result their work became a National Case Study for Youth Sport Trust which led to her presenting at the National Sports College Conference and providing National Training on brain-based learning for the Specialist Sports Colleges through YST. She was responsible for introducing a “Learning to Learn” course for Years 7 and 12 for which she designed and developed the associated resources and staff training. She has worked with and supported staff in many schools around the country, both primary and secondary, in implementing Accelerated Learning strategies in their lessons and as a consultant designing a Teaching and Learning Policy for the LEA.

Cath passionately believes that every student has the right to the best in their education, whatever that may mean for us as educators. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of Accelerated Learning methods and has found that one of the greatest effects is to bring the fun back into the classroom. She has seen the positive effects on pupils’ self esteem and feels that this approach provides for an individual’s needs so that all learners can reach high levels of aspiration and achievement.

Cath now works as an Educational Trainer, Performance Consultant and Results Coach.

She holds an Advanced Diploma (Distinction level) in Coaching and is a certified Master Practitioner of NLP. She is certified in Advanced Neurological RepatterningTM and is a qualified Performance Consultant and Master Results Coach. She has worked extensively with individuals, teams and organisations helping them to maximise their performance, overcome personal and organisational barriers to success and create the results they want to achieve.  She applies her knowledge and expertise in her training days which have been described as “brilliant!”, “thoroughly enjoyable”, “very useful”, “realistic” and “inspiring!”

Cath is also a qualified fitness instructor and continues to teach STEP classes in what spare time she has, as well as fell walking and watching her two sons play rugby.
