Moving On with Accelerated Learning
This new course led by Alistair Smith provides a fresh
look at the essentials of the Accelerated Learning approach
and gives you three new tools to move learning on.
The day is structured
around the new 4-Stage Learning Cycle. It starts with fresh
insights into why today's learners are different and what
we should do about it. We examine the relative strengths of
different models of learning and make a case for a balanced
approach. Alistair introduces video examples of the 4-Stage
Learning Cycle at work.
Throughout the day
we link the learning cycle to underpinning theory, case studies
of success and practical strategies. Alistair introduces some
practical suggestions for integrating ICT, formative assessment,
thinking and creativity. PlanEasy2, the electronic planning

tracking will be demonstrated.
